Due to the size of my workshop, I didn’t have room for a freestanding router table, I typically favor one end or the other of my workbench, not usually the middle. So i built in the router table, the fence is removed and stored with other router accessories under the bench when not in use.
(Just realized i took the pic before screwing in the miter track, its done now, I have also closed in the front so that it matches the rest of the workbench.)
