Fireworks Ignition System

Electronic fireworks ignition system. Inspired by what the pro’s use, built with stuff i had lying around (Mostly).

Runs off of a 12v car battery, uses resistance wire igniters (I used to make them by hand but now prefer Talon brand) Since the run from the controller to tubes isn’t that far i just used cat5 networking cable. The system is keyed for security and features both test and live-fire modes. Entire circuit was designed by me to be as reliable as possible without any advanced circuitry to worry about.

There’s only one mortar rack pictured, but I have 2 plus another 6 channel breakout box, and plan to build at least one more. That allows me double the channels by unplugging one set of 6 and plugging in another mid-show. I also usually fire more than one firework from each channel using time delayed fusing for desired timing.
