Electronic fireworks ignition system. Inspired by what the pro's use, built with stuff i had lying around (Mostly).
Runs off of a 12v car battery, uses resistance wire igniters (I used to make them by hand but now prefer Talon brand) Since the run from the controller to tubes isn't that far i just used cat5 networking cable. The system is keyed for security and features both test and live-fire modes. Entire circuit was designed by me to be as reliable as possible without any advanced circuitry to worry about.
